A common truth in Emergency Medical Services and the Fire Service is that there is always something new to learn. The EMS Reserve is committed to keeping its member's skills fresh through continuous training.
Most monthly meetings will include training on one of a wide variety of topics. These topics can be as varied as psychiatric emergences or anti-terrorism training.
Once or twice a year, the EMS Reserve will hold a large-scale training session. Large-scale topics have included patient extrication, simulated chemical attacks and Rose Bowl operations.
